My landlord wants to add new rules after lease was signed

So my landlord text me Tuesday letting me know that him and his maintenance guy was coming out to walk-through and see what repairs needed to be done in the home he said he was coming out on Sunday he came out he spoke to me he started yelling and screaming at my husband after I already answered him about the four wheelers they were in my yard. I’m from Niagara Falls, Ny.

Destruction of property is a problem. I’m not entirely sure what the issue with the 4wheelers are but if they are putting ruts in the grass and dirt and burning brush in the yard, this can cost THOUSANDS of dollars to fix. As me how I know
There’s a lot of missing information and lack of a question.

I can completely understand him not wanting unregistered vehicles or bikes in the yard as well as burning wood. But what was your question?

I’m not too familiar with home rentals but I am in property management for apartments and we reserve the right to tow any unauthorized vehicles from our property with 24hr warning. Depending on the situation we may not have to give warning at all. This is not outlined in our lease but is stated in our community policies. He may have the same rights.
Editing to add that unauthorized vehicles also includes any vehicle that is not street legal, has current registration, or is inoperable.

I’d honestly just garden hose the wheels of the bikes down and lay towels on the floor and drive the bikes into the house at this point…

Looks to me that he gave you a fair amount of time to clear the property for necessary safety repairs and you came at him with legal threats? It seems that he is on top of maintaining his property for you and you have unregistered vehicles and have already done damage to his property. I’d check yourself honestly
