]]> Hi! I got married a year ago. I’m Canadian. He’s American. I just got my permanent residency on my own as I’m an Indian Canadian(tribal) HAVENT been able to work for a year as I didn’t have my green card. I gave my husband(soon ex) 21 thousand American that was Canadian currency, which I acquired before our marriage, because one he told me I need to give him collateral to prove that I didn’t marry him for a green card, which doesn’t make sense cause I got it on my own and now I’m going back to Canada.. Now he’s trying to say that he won’t have to give me that back as he’s supported me for a year and paid everything. Is that true, we’re in California! Looking for some in sight on this
