]]> For the past 3 years I have been exchanging work for rent. I have a solar panel hooked to my trailer and I pay for my own food, hygiene, necessities. We are on a well so that isn’t he only electricity per say that I use. I dedicate 25+ hours a week. I have a full time job outside of the ranch. All of a sudden the landlord is demanding I pay him $500 cash for rent. He doesn’t want to write a lease or have any paper trail. He said that if I don’t pay rent by the 1st then I need to leave. I tried talking to him but he doesn’t care. I told him if I pay then don’t expect me to do any work. He said I need to pay $500 + 25+ hours a week. Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated.
