What is considered kid napping?
Definitely get it in writing and notarized. But if he is okay with it (and it's in writing!) It's not kidnapping.

That's not kidnapping if she leaves the country and takes the kids? We can't take the kids out of state without written permission from eachother.

Oh, if yiu can drag it out to that 10 yr mark before the decree, you might be eligible for divorced spouse soc sec at retirement age, unless you remarry. Not sure how citizenship affects that, however. Might be hard to enforce support if you leave the US

I was told I needed to prove him unfit. Being a child molester, being in a relationship with one, child abuse, child neglect, active drug addiction, or something along those lines. Not paying support has absolutely nothing to do with visitation or custody issues. Whether he pays or doesn’t wouldn’t matter. My ex went years without paying. Didn’t matter. He goes years without seeing my daughter but still has visitation rights. Never sees her, his choice, but he has visitation rights. I don’t know what all he’s done so I can’t really say if you could get his rights terminated or not. But they won’t terminate them for nonpayment and they won’t NOT terminate them because he occasionally pays if you have proof of a legit reason to have them terminated. My examples were just examples. I’m sure they’re not the only reasons to have rights terminated. But you can have them terminated if you have a good enough reason regardless if he pays a little, pays it all the time, or never pays it.

Child support isn't relevant to having their rights terminated. You have to prove them to be an unfit parent. A judge will tell you upfront, that nonpayment of support isn't a reason to withhold the child and has nothing to do with his visitation rights. If all he's doing is being sketchy about chilRead more

If all he’s doing is being sketchy about child support, the most you can do is have him arrested for nonpayment. And they require them to be so far behind and not make payments for so long before they will issue a bench warrant for it. He’s making the bare minimum to keep himself from going to jail over it

What’s interesting is that there is nothing illegal or immoral about listing an item that you don’t yet have: it’s called dropshipping and it was a highly lucrative topic until everyone with an internet connection decided to jump on. You basically find an item on Amazon for $20 and you’d advertise it on eBay for 30 and you’d use the $30 that just came in to buy the item for 20 and ship it to the customer keeping the difference for yourself — this wouldn’t actually require any capital up front so I’m not sure what he would have been borrowing the money for… Instead of spending your cash and buying a PlayStation from the store, he could literally copy and paste the address of the customer into the website from which he’d be buying the PlayStation and they would deal with the shipping so he literally wouldn’t have to get off his rear end to make money. It would appear to me that he was “borrowing” money from you to use and never give back. He ruined your eBay account reputation and potentially got you banned from using eBay for a lifetime as well as open due to a risk of jail time: he was taking people’s money and promising to ship them a PlayStation and then running off with the money but he was doing this in your name so you’re the person who’s legally responsible for this and good luck proving that it was him behind the keyboard and mouse… The first course of action is to, of course, try and recuperate money from the fraudsters bank account, so he took whatever money he could from those kids that thought that they were getting PlayStations and ran off with it and you’re the person left hanging on the hook for the refunds that came out of your pocket. He straight up did you dirty to your face and you’re none the wiser… I would mercilessly report him for being a fraudster.

If they did and you had proof it was because of the pregnancy you could sue for wrongful termination. It might be in your best interest to disclose the pregnancy, (do it in writing), which would make it harder for them to fire you for missing work. Because once they’re in the know they can’t claim ignorance, but if you keep the pregnancy from them you’re just protecting them and making it easier for them to let you go (if that happens). You might even be pleasantly surprised to find how accommodating they are once you share the news.

I just know that Divorce is messy if both are not mutually agreeing. He really has much more to lose. 1/3 house, 50/50 company, child support, health insurance 50/50, maybe spousal support based on the life style you currently have due to the money the company can bring in, any investments, retirement accts, ira’s, 401ks, whole life insurance policies cash value, crypto currency if any…etc…..these are the things I would look for and hold in a conversation….. You know what is said….. it is cheaper to keep her! Hope you all come to a peaceful understanding and do it the mutual respectful way for all parties involved.
