Also, be sure to file a police report.

see that’s what I thought but they say they have to investigate it regardless and speak to him. And I don’t understand. Is my agent just not doing his job? Should I see if there is someone else with the agency I can speak to?

I know this isn’t exactly the same but might shed some light. My Mother died in 2021 leaving house and property to the 6 adult children in a life estate. One of the sisters, who had lived in the house with Mother for some time, refused to agree to sell the property so we could divide/realize our inheritance. One of the brothers sided with her and it was becoming messy. So, I told them I would force a sale under a “partition”, which just one sibling can do and legal fees would be split among everyone (taken from proceeds). Once she realized that was going to happen, she went ahead and agreed to sell.

From what I’ve seen most often, you can’t even move out of state without his approval. If he agrees, you can move but that could negatively impact child support.

A restraining order between you two has no bearing on custody. High conflict parents are ordered to use parenting apps and exchange at law enforcement centers. There is no legal obligation until the child is born. Judges don't factor this in regarding custody.

If he tries to say his schudule changes…just state thats everybody…theres always a chance schudules at work can alternate…just part of being a parent…maybe offer makeup times for days he may miss, if his job would take up all his parenting time lots of people get custody order so that if it comes to a point that parents cant co parent…something black n white to fall on. But usually like in my custody agreement theres a clause that for special circumstances or normal day to day decsions we will work out between ourselves. Ex: switching weekends because his grandpa showed up in town or dad doesnt get off work in time on his day to pick up from school, so ill pick up and dad can get from my house.

You will have to find the child and manage to get your hands on the child. The police won’t do it for u but if u can get the child then the police will stop her from trying to take him from u. They will come and tell her no and that she has to talk to the judge about it. Judges don’t like it when a parent refuses to come to hearings involving a child or respond to anything. That’s a fast way to lose custody. It won’t mean he will have custody permanently tho. She can win custody back again
